Answers to some of our most commonly asked questions.
Where do we fish?
All our trips take place in the beautiful Okanagan region of British Columbia a Stillwater paradise known for its clear lakes and trophy trout opportunities.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes. All guests are required to purchase a valid BC freshwater fishing license before the trip. You can get one online at www.fishing.gov.bc.ca or at most local tackle shops.
Can we keep the fish we catch?
Yes, you can harvest what you’re legally allowed. However some trips are strictly catch and release. This helps preserve the quality of these trophy Stillwater fisheries for future generations. (Best to speak with us prior to booking if your wanting to retain fish).
Do you provide gear?
Yes. We supply rods, reels, fly lines, leaders, and flies all rods and reels are (Lamson products). You’re also welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer we’ll help you get set up right for the lake and the season.
What should I bring?
We recommend layered clothing, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a rain jacket, and lunch/snacks all in one small bag.
Is this suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Our trips are educational by design whether you’re brand new or just new to Stillwater, you’ll leave with more knowledge and more confidence.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Please contact us at least 14 days in advance for cancellations or rescheduling. Deposits are non-refundable within two weeks of the trip unless weather or safety becomes a concern.
Do you offer multi-day or group trips?
Yes. We offer custom multi-day packages. Reach out to discuss your dates and goals.
